On Friday November 4 from 4-6 pm, Highway 12 Ventures will host a special event featuring Brad Feld of Foundry Group at the WaterCooler in Boise. For those who saw Brad speak at Idavation a couple of years ago, you know what a treat this is. Brad is one of the most successful and outspoken VC’s in the country. Along with Fred Wilson, Brad pioneered transparency in venture capital by blogging on a regular basis before anyone else in the industry. Co-founder of TechStars (the #1 seed accelerator in the country), Brad has also co-authored two fantastic books, Do More Faster & Venture Deals.
“Beers with Brad” will be chill. We’ll have a few kegs of beer and plenty of pizza for everyone . Brad will start off with a short talk and then we’ll spend the rest of the evening in a relaxed Q&A on whatever topics the crowd wants to engage in.
Cost to attend is $10 at the door. Proceeds will go to Create Common Good, an amazing and important local non-profit organization dedicated to helping local refugees acquire skills and employment in an effort to help them assimilate into the community.
